...It has a lot going for it - a good mix of housing stock to suit most budgets, excellent access to M25, M1 and north orbital roads; 15 minute drive to St.Albans Thameslink for fast services to London and 15 minutes to High Barnet or Cockfosters tube stations in the other direction; green open spaces and pleasant countryside walks, lovely river setting at the southern end of the village, churches to suit most faiths, excellent shopping, great pubs, and all within a short distance of the lovely cathedral city of St Albans.
There is a very good community spirit here with an excellent firework display each year put on by the local scouts and local businesses - which seems to gather more support each year.
London Colney has its own identity within the St Albans district (much improved in more recent years) and residents have every reason to be proud of the village.
