I have lived in Harrow for six months now and I must admit I love it…
...The transport is great: tube, train and loads of buses.
It's got all the shops, bars and restaurants you need and more. It has a sense of calm, like you're not in London which I love, it's a great happy medium.
A short walk takes you to beautiful wooded areas. The area is full of young professionals, it's perfect for me. The only thing id like to see is a 24hr shop but it's not the end of the world.

I moved to Harrow just over 6 months ago and I was amazed at the beautiful green spaces ...
... the value for money on very nice properties and the super shopping centre. Links into central London by tube or overland are easy and an absolute bonus. It's a great place to live!

Been living in Harrow for past year...
It's an excellent place to live for a number of reasons.
Great transport links (Baker St only 15-20 minutes, M1 / M40 close by), excellent shopping (St Ann's / St Georges), loads of great restaurants for most cuisines, nice mix in community (mainly families and young professionals).
One negative point - the council, probably like most in London, is run by a bunch of Muppets, who seem to lack common sense and reason.

It is the best place to live...
It has two big shopping centres (St.Ann's and St.George's), good schools, nice parks and a lovely community.

Very nice, good parks, great schools and London...
...is a mere 20 minute ride on a cramp-free train/tube. On the downside house prices have escalated in the past two years, but on average with London, it's still a fairly affordable area to live.

We have lived in Harrow for over ten years and we love it...
It's a multicultural town with excellent town centre and exceptional links to London and around the country.
Property market is quite high and very fast moving.
Area is very safe and pleasant to live for all ages.

When deciding which area of Harrow to move to, have a look at West Harrow...
The area is within walking distance of the town centre, it's very quiet and West Harrow station is on your doorstep. The area has mostly 3 bedroom houses built around the turn of the century. Unfortunately houses do go very quickly!!
