... Close to both Richmond and Twickenham for nights out, yet with its own community of shops and pubs. There's even a delightful summer fair and it's surrounded by parks and the river.

...and it is absolutely fantastic place to live. It's lively, it's fun and moreover it's safe!

As a young professional it has all that I need with a good range of smart speciality shops and boutiques many that have opened in the last couple of years.

It has good connections by both train and road M3, M25 and M4.

The two local pubs are both recently refurbished and you can walk into both Twickenham and Richmond in 15 minutes.

The residential roads are quiet, green and leafy and it is great to have the river and two parks (Cole and Marble Hill) within five minutes, particularly in the summer.

Finally it is still the sort of place where you can get to know your neighbours where you will find a smile and a hello and a real friendly local feel to the area.

Where else can you have top class schools, restaurants, theatres, cinemas, Richmond Park, the Thames, Marble Hill Park, historic ferry over the river to Ham House, Twickenham town centre, brilliant local St. Margarets shops, Richmond centre, tube, main line station, swimming pool, tennis courts, sailing, canoeing, adult classes in a multitude of subjects, excellent bridge clubs, bowling, all within very easy walking distance.

Friendly neighbours, good community feeling. If you need to live near London, there cannot be a better place.

Quieter, friendlier and cheaper than Richmond, yet only 1 mile from the centre. Excellent schools in the vicinity, as well as Marble Hill Park, and Richmond Park a quick ride across the river. Very convenient for leaving London as M3 nearby.

...has everything at hand, choice of quaint shops, restaurants, pubs and walks by the river & the Old Deer Park, trains to Kingston & Waterloo; what more do you want? Roll on summer!

...what a lovely part of the country this area is. Having lived here for over a year, I would not wish to live anywhere else in England.

...with an "almost unheard of community feel". The northside of the A316 is slightly cheaper than the train station side and suffers more from plane noise and Mogden Sewage Works (by Twickenham Rugby ground) because of the prevailing winds.
