Word on the Street: Carrick on Shannon

I've lived in Carrick on Shannon for 24 years...

The town had grown dramatically in the past 5 years. This growth has all been very positive for the town. The night life is excellent and there are some great pubs and shops. The whole town is very compact so getting around is very easy. I recommend joining the rowing club. It has some excellent facilities and the boats are top class. The river Shannon is also a great river to row on.
