France: Vendee - Western Loire We are very proud of the extensive range of homes we have available here on our park in the Western Loire in the Heart of the Vendee. We are open for 12 months of the year so you may visit as often and stay for as long as you wish. This park is now well established and being situated in such a great location makes it very popular with all. We are around 3 hours drive from the Ferry port of St Malo, 45 minutes from Nantes airport, 20 minutes to the fabulous beaches at St Gilles Croix de Vie and only 5 minutes in the car to the lake and village. The "mini climate of the Vendee enjoys 2600 hours of sunshine a year and we believe this is another reason why this site is so popular. The local French village is just a 20 minute walk away and amenities there include a pharmacy, convenience store, bakers, restaurants and bars. A huge freshwater lake provides not only the opportunity for fishing but also for lots of fun with and various types of boats for hire. A tour round the ancient chateau is a must. On the coast, St Gilles Croix de Vie has a harbour, wonderful beaches, fresh produce markets, shops, supermarkets and many bars and restaurants with the chance to try the local sea food dishes. The park facilities include reception and security, outdoor and covered swimming pool, bar, WiFi Internet, mini golf and a children's play area. The surrounding countryside perfect for long country walks and pets are welcome on lead.
